Happy Chinese New Year 2020!

Happy Chinese New Year!

Here is our Asian restaurant waiting for customers. With lots of yummy food.

And here are all the customers. I was playing with my child so that's why most of the kids have their own table. They're very independent in this town.

And then of course, we had a celebration with the Dragon.

I love this bamboo plant from hbs/miniatures

Happy Year of the Rat!

  1. It looks as if you and the kiddo had an epic play time together! What fun minis you've collected to celebrate the occasion! The dragon is so cool and I can almost smell the dim sum!

    1. Yes, I found that dragon in Chinatown here in NYC. My son loved playing with that dragon. The dragon tried to eat the rat, but I said that wasn't going to be a good start to the new year of the rat if it got eaten on the first day. :)

  3. They must have great meals in this restaurant regarding the amount of customers. ;O) A great scene and this paper dragon is stunning. So let's celebrate the year of the rat (feels strange somehow to toast these rodents *grin*)
