Planting flowers

I stopped by My Tiny Dollhouse in NYC and purchased this little planter of flowers, so I had to make a little scene with it (with what supplies are not packed away).

I bought the herb pots many years ago on Etsy.  And I made the back fence with coffee stirrer sticks.  And some day I will actually finish this, especially as I am now so inspired by the garden shed of My Miniature Madness.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Hi Penelope! Your flat of flowers looks perfect on the bench and with your clever garden fence- what a terrific transformation of stir sticks!
I'm inspired by Jodi's work too, and so I'll be eager to see how she has now inspired YOU! :D

    1. Elizabeth, I am also so inspired by your work and your gardens. I am reading all your garden posts very carefully to learn as much as possible for when I make the garden for my witch's cottage. I feel like you are an artist adding color and texture to the garden. hope you are having a wonderful summer!

    1. That's so sweet of you. I've been working on a castle for my son this summer, but that may involve its own garden! With all your vegetable tutorials from AM magazine!

  4. I love this little scene. It looks like the perfect way to explore garden miniatures without needing to start a huge project. So pretty! :)
